"Cultural Day Chronicles: Team UK Takes the Stage"

Cultural Day at the university was an unforgettable experience that tested our creativity, patience, and teamwork. Representing the United Kingdom, my friend and I spent an entire day gathering resources from red and blue decor to British snacks and drinks, all within a tight budget of 500 riyals. Our highlight was a handmade London telephone booth, a photo prop that instantly caught attention.

The final two days were a whirlwind of painting, decorating, and assembling everything. However, on the final day, strong winds made setting up a nightmare; nothing seemed to stay in place, and decorations kept falling. It was far from what we had planned, but with teamwork and determination, we managed to pull it all together just in time.

Although I felt we could have done much better without the last-minute chaos and delays, the experience taught me a lot, especially about planning, adaptability, and problem-solving under pressure. Seeing our UK-themed stall finally come alive and enjoyed by everyone made all the challenges worthwhile. It wasn’t perfect, but it was a proud display of creativity, teamwork, and resilience.
